10th Month Developmental Milestones
90% of babies can…

I will skip the 25% of babies. No point.

I think I am hung-up on the sitting unsupported milestone. It concerns me that neither are doing it yet, and neither are even close to being able to do. We work every day with them (especially Carson), and there is no improvement. Apparently 75% of 7 month olds can sit unsupported. Sigh.
I remind myself how far they have come, how all the cards were stacked against them in the beginning, and all of that is very true. But my 20+ lbs baby boy isn’t sitting or crawling yet, and for some reason this concerns me. I’ve heard a dozen time, ‘They will develop in their own time’ — but at what point should I get concerned? When they reach a year old and they aren’t crawling or sitting? I honestly don’t know. My pedi doc isn’t much help either.
Okay, I know I’m just boo-hooing and being whiny. I’m just concerned and perhaps a tad hyper-sensitive.
In happier news…
Since the twins don’t have a wellness appointment for their 10th month, I took them in to get weighed anyway.
Carson is 20 lbs, 6 oz.
Kate is 15 lbs, 3 oz.
