1st Bathing Suits

Since it was a misty, yucky day we decided to play dress-up.

Carson in his new swim suit — that is already too small even though it’s an 18 month size!

Carson didn’t enjoy time in the rocker. Kate seemed to enjoy teasing him though. Here is Miss Kate in her first bikini (also too small even though it’s a 12 month size!).

Since the bikini was too small, I put her in the one-piece. Yep! Too small also. Kate is having a Tara Reid moment in this photo!

Guess who learned how to put on her own sunglasses today?

Haha…She thinks she is just too cool. It was funny watching her crawl around for a good 10-15 minutes with the sunglasses still on.

The Dress

This isn’t the greatest photo — Kate wasn’t in the mood for photos — but this photo has a lot of meaning to me and my mom. Kate is wearing my mom’s all-time favorite dress of mine. I wore this dress in my 1-year old photo, and for as long as I can remember I’ve seen that photo hanging in my mom’s house. She held on to that dress for over 30 years now. Holding on to it probably for the above photo.

Here is a photo I took of a 4-month old Kate sitting next to my 1-year old portrait. Kate sure has changed a lot! Do you see any resemblance in me and Kate at the same age? That’s always been a debate around here. Cast your vote.
